Hundreds demonstrate in Tel Aviv to mark '47 years of occupation'

A protest marking "47 years of occupation" took place in a Tel Aviv park Saturday night. The organizers of the demonstration said hundreds of people had shown up and they are expected to march towards a street near a Defense Ministry building where they will they play a presentation which derides the settlement industry.

In an invitation to the protest, they wrote "The Netanyahu administration sanctifies the settlements and prefers them over a stable peace agreement with the Palestinians. The government fattens the settlements with billions of shekels on the back of the education, health, welfare, and culture budgets. (Gilad Morag)
