Interior minister: Postponing presidential elections harms Israeli democracy
Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar told Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein that he opposed any postponement of the presidential elections, the minister wrote on his Facebook wall.

Sa'ar, who was the first to oppose Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attempts to cancel the presidential elections, said "any attempt to postpone the elections would damage the Knesset, the office of the president, and Israeli democracy." (Attila Somfalvi)
