Ismail Haniyeh
Former prime minister of Hamas in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh, took advantage of his free time after the creation of a reconciliatory Palestinian government with Fatah by taking part in a lively game of soccer at the beginning of the week.
The game was organized by released Palestinian prisoners as a way to show solidarity with Palestinians holding middle of a hunger strike that's lasted more than a month.
Actions of protest have been on the rise in the West Bank and Gaza recently in response to the hunger strike and the deteriorating situation of those involved.
At the beginning of the week a large group of Palestinian business owners went on strike in a show of solidarity and Naksa Day events were devoted to the subject.
Hamas owned media accused the Fatah of taking steps to imprison protestors showing solidarity with the hunger strikers.
