Israel barred Palestinian business Munib al-Masri from entering Gaza Strip

Israel refused entry to Palestinian businessman Munib al-Masri into the Gaza Strip, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported Tuestay.

Al-Masri, who is close to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said that this was supposed to be his first visit to the Gaza Strip since the establishment of the unity government, and was meant to monitor the economical situation in the Gaza Strip and organize an investment conference which was scheduled to be held in the final quarter of this year.
