Attorney General could revoke release of 10 Shalit deal prisoners

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein filed a petition Monday to revoke the release of ten of the terrorists released in the 2011 Gilad Shalit prisoner swap and were originally given life sentences.

The petition was made as part of the decision to have those released prisoners who returned to their old ways of terror, back in prison to continue their original sentence.

The petitions were submitted to a special parole board headed by a district court judge. Prisoners signed a document stipulating their return to jail to compete their original sentence should they be return to terror. (Aviel Magnezi)
