Come for the boys

Parents of kidnapped teen Naftali Frenkel urge Israeli people to turn up for support rally in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square.

Tonight we all meet in the square. Three families, hurtling towards the same fate, have shared the difficult experience together. We have received an outpouring of love and support from people who have from across the globe – it warms our hearts.

The rally in Rabin Square tonight is another way to show that the entire nation of Israel is in this together. That we feel like brothers, that we share the hope to see the faces of Naftali, Eyal, and Gil-Ad back home soon.

We expect to see in the square tonight the Israeli public, people from across the spectrum of our society.

Secular and religious, men and women, young and old. We would be happy to stand all of us together, to sing, to pray, and to hope that this will all be over quickly.

This rally is the best way to show support for us and for our boys, and even more than support – it is a sign of social cohesion. For all of us to be together, to see the support and the great affection we have felt from the nation for three weeks.
