Palestinian administrative detainee ends hunger strike on his own initiative

Aimim Abtish, a Palestinian prisoner who has been on a hunger strike for the last three and a half months in protest of his administrative detention, has decided to end his strike.
Abtish was hospitalized in Souraski Medical Center in Tel Aviv following deterioration in his physical condition. The IPS (Israel Prison Service) said that nothing was promised to the prisoner in return for ending his hunger strike.
As of now there is only one administrative detainee left still on hunger strike. (Elior Levy and Raanan Ben-Zur)
