Hebrew University of Jerusalem faculty announces general strike

Some 2,000 faculty members of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem announced the beginning of a general strike. They are expected to protest on campus at noon Sunday because of the recent decision to decrease funding to the Humanities faculty which is expected to result in the firing of dozens of faculty members.
