Some 50 people joined the growing protest in Acre, increasing their numbers to around 250 in total. Protesters waved Palestinian flags yelling, "We'll sacrifice our lives for Palestine," and "There's nothing like kidnapping soldiers."
One of the protesters told Ynet, "We'll continue protesting and the policy of the police and riot police won't deter us, us will only strengthen our stance. We'll keep protesting so that the world will hear us as will the Israeli government which is trying to humiliate us and drive us from our homes and lands."
The protest was apparently inspired by the recent death and burial of Palestinian teen Mohammad Abu Khdeir.
