Government to transfer NIS 15 million to local authorities due to rocket fire

Finance Minister Yair Lapid and Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar have decided to allocate financial assistance to local authorities, following the firing of rockets at Israel. Lapid and Sa’ar decided that the Interior Ministry would receive permission to transfer funds to local authorities which are forced to deal with unforeseen expenses following the firing of rockets into their territories.

The Interior Ministry will be able to transfer money up to NIS 15 million for emergency actions taken by the local authority, or for expenditures for the purchase of food, fuel and other supplies.
