Government to allow millions in funding to southern towns

The government is expected to approve a plan on Sunday that would expand investment in the economy of southern towns by millions of shekels. The towns will all be within seven kilometers of the border with Gaza.
The plan has been drawn up by the director of the prime minister's office, Harel Locker, in cooperation with the Finance, Economy, Interior, Health and Transport ministries who combined had a budget of over NIS 400 million in 2015-2016.
