Homefront Defense puts new system into action to advise civilians during emergencies

The IDF Homefront Defense announced that they would begin Thursday with a new system that they are calling "Personal Message". In the framework of the operation, citizens who's cell phones are compatible with the system will recieve messages explaining what steps can be taken for personal defense and updates during emergencies.
At this stage, the system still won't act as an emergency warning system. Additional information can be found at the Homefront Defense's website at www.oref.org.il, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and the Homefront Defense hotline by dialing 104.
