Egypt to transfer 500 tons to aid to Gaza
The Egyptian Army announced that some 500 tons of food products and medical supplies will be sent to Gaza. The military said that the aid was "Part of Egypt's diplomatic efforts and attempts to stop the Israeli attacks in the Gaza strip and according to the directives of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi."
At the same time a spokesman of Egypt's foreign ministry told the publication Asharq Al-Awsat that Egypt is exploring the option of adding additional pressures on the parties to reach a truce and end the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
