Homefront Command: Remain in shelters 10 min after code red
In light of on-going rocket fire into Israel, the Homefront Command is reminding civilians that during a code red alert they should enter a properly protected structure and close all doors and windows. People should wait 10 minutes inside the protected structure.

If driving in a vehicle during air raid sirens, civilians should stop the vehicle on the side of road and enter the closest protected
structure. If there is no such structure nearby, civilians should lay flat on the ground stomach-down and use their hands to cover their heads.

In addition, the Homefront Command said that people should stay away from suspicious materials and pieces of fallen rockets. Officials will air updates to emergency procedures every day on channel 23 in Hebrew, Russian, Amaric and English. The Homefront Command can also be contacted through their hotline at 104.
