Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine Ramadan Abdullah said in an interview with the Al Jazeera network that “the equation of calm for calm is irrelevant, Israel must lift the blockade and open the crossing points.” He added that Egypt must be part of the deal and that there is currently no serious broker.
Abdullah added that has been is in contact with the leader of the Hamas political bureau Khaled Mashal throughout the entire operation.
