Social Affairs Ministry transfer NIS 5 million to southern communities

Following Operation Protective Shield, the Social Affairs Ministry announced Monday it transferred NIS 5 million to local authorities located up to 40km (about 25 miles) from the Gaza Strip. In Addition, the ministry announced it transferred NIS 2 million to the mentally disabled population to cope with the security situation.
