Israel: Egyptian Ceasefire makes Hamas weaker; Cabinet to convene Tuesday morning
State officials in Jerusalem said that an Egyptian drafted ceasefire agreement presented to the involved parties Monday night, mostly returns the region to the situation that existed before the latest IDF operation in Gaza, but leaves Hamas much weaker.
A source said that if the ceasefire is accepted Israel would then take action on the international stage to rid Gaza of rockets. The Cabinet is expected to meet in the morning to discuss the proposed agreement.
