Commander of the Negev subdistrict police Officer Peretz Amar addressed the ceasefire, saying “there is no calm, the facts on the ground are different. On the contrary – the rocket fire has intensified.”
He stressed that “past experience teaches us that even if we discuss calm, the ordeal does not end so quickly and could possibly put lives in danger.”
