Peres: Israel and Arabs accept Egyptian offer, only Hamas refuse

President Shimon Peres referred to the security situation and said that "Israel and the Arab League accepted the Egyptian ceasefire offer – Hamas was the only one to refuse and continue with the rocket fire.

In a meeting with Italy Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini, Peres added that "Hamas is forcing terror on civilians. We won't let our people be under senseless attacks, but at the same time we are trying as hard as we can not to hurt the innocent people of Gaza".
