20 tons of medicine, medical supplies transferred to Gaza Strip through Erez crossing
Five trucks containing 20 tons of medicine, medical supplies, blankets and personal first-aid kits were transferred to Gaza through the Erez border crossing on Saturday. The equipment was donated by foreign aid organizations and the Palestinian Authority.
Making an exception to the regular policy, Major General Yoav (Poli) Mordechai, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, had approved the opening of the Erez crossing so as to enable the transfer of the equipment.
