Egypt officials deny inviting Mashal to Cairo

Official sources in Egypt denied Thursday the publications according to which Cairo invited Hamas chief Khaled Mashal to visit.

"These are unfounded claims", said the Egyptian officials, who blamed Hamas for leaking these publications "as part of a string of lies Hamas leaders are spreading". They added that while Hamas' leadership members are living in luxury hotels, it's leaving the innocent Palestinian people to be killed by the dozens".
