Palestinian man killed in clashes near Jerusalem; riots erupt throughout east Jerusalem
A Palestinian was killed as a result of clashes just north of Jerusalem. Palestinian sources claim that he was killed by gun fire from Israeli security forces. His body was removed to Ramallah.
Additionally, riots broke out in several areas of the capital where masked Palestinian youths threw rocks and Molotov cocktails while also setting off fireworks. Police forces met the rioters with crowd control and dispersal methods.
