Muhammad Nazal, a member of Hamas' political bureau in Qatar, told Hamas' official newspaper Al-Rissala that the movement does not object to a humanitarian lull of several hours, but that it would not agree to a long term ceasefire before the group’s conditions are met.
Nazal denied reports overnight Monday that a humanitarian ceasefire agreement was formulated between Hamas and Israel.
