IDF reservist killed in northern Gaza Strip

Sergeant First Class (res.) Yair Ashkenazi was killed in the early morning hours of Friday during operational activity in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported.
Ashkenazi, a 36-year-old resident of Rohovot, was a combat soldier in a reserve brigade. His funeral is scheduled for 4 pm at the military cemetery in Rehovot.
