Report: Turkey in direct contact with Israel, Egypt in ceasefire efforts
Turkey is currently in direct contact with Israeli and Egyptian officials in continued attempts to work for a long-term ceasefire with Hamas in the Gaza Strip. However, Turkey is also sharply criticizing both countries according to reports from the Turkish publication Hurriyet. According to the report, a senior government official in Turkey is in direct contact with one of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's key advisors.
