Cabinet approves extending ceasefire by 24 hours
Diplomatic officials said that at the request of the UN, the cabinet approved Saturday to extend the humanitarian ceasefire by 24 hours. The truce will last until Sunday at midnight during which IDF activity to neutralize terror tunnels will continue.
The cabinet will reconvene on Sunday to discuss the course of the operation until the peace and quiet will be restored to the Israeli people for a lasting period of time.
