Palestinian UN envoy: Security Council should stop the aggression, remove blockade

The Palestinian UN envoy Riyad Mansour expressed disappointment after the Security Council's call for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza and said that "This is a presidential statement, but it is not a decision. The Security Council should have made a decision a long time ago to stop this aggression and remove the Gaza siege. We expect the Security Council to protect our people".

"We do not accept the Security Council's feet-dragging policy as if it were a minor subject of insignificant importance," Mansour added.
