MK Hanin Zoabi suspended from knesset activities

The Knesset ethics committee suspended Tuesday Balad MK Hanin Zoabi from participating in the Knesset committees and plenum discussions for six months following offensive statements she made.

This is the maximum punishment the ethics committee is authorized to determine according to the Knesset protocol.

Recently, number of MKs filed complaints against Zoabi, including one by Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein.
