Finance Ministry: 'Military operation has no effect on budget, growth forecast'
Finance Ministry Director-General Yael Andorn addressed the financial effects of the military operation in Gaza saying "We don't predict any changes in the growth forecast of 2015 following Operation Protective Edge. Should such an effect come to pass it would take place in 2016 and it will be a minor one".
"Every budget takes into consideration unexpected costs. At the moment, the budget can contain the cost of the operation, but we will summarize its total affect at the end of it," added Andorn.
