EU calls on Israel, Hamas to renew ceasefire agreement
The European Union called on Israel and Hamas to take any and all steps possible to renew the ceasefire previously agreed upon. High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy for the European Union, Catherine Ashton, said member nations were very trouble by the collapse of the ceasefire.
She stressed that it is "essential" for the ceasefire to be renewed and that it must respect and put an end to the killing of civilians.
