MKs agree on NIS 6 million aid package institutions of higher learning in south
Finance Minister Yair Lapid and Education Minister Shai Piron announced Sunday the decision to allott NIS 6 million in immediate aid to institutions of higher education located in southern Israel in light of Operation Protective Edge and the security situation in the area. The institution set to receive the additional funds are: Ben Gurion Universtiy, Sapir college, the Sami Shamoon College, Ahva Academic College, and Ashkelon College.
