10,000 protest IDF's Gaza op in Morocco capital Casablanca
Nearly 10,000 people demonstrated Sunday in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, to support the people of Gaza, citing Israeli military operations in the Palestinian enclave as well as international inaction, said a journalist from AFP.
This new gathering, the largest yet in Morocco during Israel's military operation in Gaza, was held at the call of the Islamist movement Al Adl Wal Ihsan (AWI, "Justice and Charity"), discouraged in the country, but tolerated. A similar gathering was held in Rabat two weeks ago.
