Gaza militants have so far fired 31 rockets at southern towns in Israel since the one-sided humanitarian ceasefire began at 10am. The ceasefire is expected to remain in force until 5pm. 21 of the rockets fell in open areas and one was shot down by the Iron Dome missile
defense system.

Palestinians reported in the morning that eight people were killed in an IDF attack on the Shati refugee camp. The reports claimed that 30 people had been wounded in the attack and that it was carried out after 10am, during the Israeli ceasefire. Additional reports said that two others were wounded in a separate Israeli attack at the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central area of the Gaza Strip.
