Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited wounded IDF soldiers at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva Monday. "You are the best of our sons," he told the troopers. You are doing holy work in defending the citizens of Israel. The entire nation is behind you. I am proud of each
one of you."

Netanyahu met one-on-one with a soldier from the Nahal Brigade who had volunteered to take on a combat role in the military despite having medical issues that would have allowed him to choose a different position. "I was moved by the story of your heroism, the story of your life. I wish you a quick and full recovery," the prime minister told him.
