IDF troops sustained light injuries from mortar fire; Iron Dome intercepts over Ashdod, as unilateral Israeli ceasefire ends.

Gaza militants launched over 30 rockets at southern communities since 10 am – the start of Israel's unilateral ceasefire. Air Raid sirens blared in the Sha'ar HaNegev and Sdot Negev Regional Councils around 5 pm. Three rockets fell in open areas in Sdot Negev, while a rocket fell outside a kibbutz in the Eshkol Regional Council – with no siren to warn of its impending crash.

Air raid sirens sounded in Ashdod, Kiryat Malakhi, Gan Yavne, and the surrounding areas at 2:22 pm. Iron Dome intercepted one rocket over Ashdod; no injuries or damages were reported.

Earlier a rocket exploded in a Sha'ar HaNegev area community. A rocket also fell in an open area in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council and another exploded outside a kibbutz in Eshkol. There were no injuries and no damages reported in any of the incidents.
