Government sources: Israel supportive of ceasefire, IDF prepared if it is broken
Sources in Jerusalem said Monday night that Israel is supportive of the Egyptian proposal for a 72-hour ceasefire and insisted that the agreement will come without any pre-conditions. The sources said that operations against smuggling tunnels in Gaza were finished Monday and that Israel is fully prepared in the event that the ceasefire is violated.
