Senior political officials: Netanyahu responsible for worsening of relations with US

Senior political officials argued that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel's ambassador to Washington, Ron Dermer are responsible for the worsening of the relations between Israel and the US government. "We all remember how they went behind Obama's back to help candidates during elections," they said, adding that "Netanyahu is responsible for this condition."

Earlier Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Obama administration had halted shipment of Hellfire aerial anti-armor missiles to Israel after discovering that the Pentagon had confirmed the transfer without the knowledge of the White House.
