The body of a 50-year-old woman was found Thursday night in an apartment in the Florentin neighborhood of south Tel Aviv. Magen David Adom emergency personnel who arrived at the scene determined her death. Her body showed signs of a violent confrontation.
The deceased was a well-known figure in the city's nightlife scene and owned two popular hotspots. Police are attempting to locate her partner, who lives in the apartment.

Based on initial reports from the investigation, family members first complained of her absence in the afternoon, but police could not locate her. In the evening hours family members arrived at the apartment in which she lived with her boyfriend and discovered her body after breaking through the door.

One of the neighbors in the building said she did not know the woman, but had also never heard anything out of the ordinary from that apartment. "It was quiet today, I heard that her family members were looking for her, and then they broke into the apartment, and it seems that they found her lifeless."

"I am shocked, how did we not hear this, it's weird," she added.
The apartment in which the victim was murdered is located on a street populated mostly by industrial buildings and construction sites.
It was also discovered that the victim filed a domestic violence complaint with the police against her ex-partner – the file was transferred to the prosecutor's office, but not indictment had yet been submitted.
