Report: Gaza death toll rises to 1,980 after dozens died of wounds
Palestinian medical officials reported that the official death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 1,980 since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge, after dozens of people died of their wounds and bodies were recovered under rubble of destroyed buildings, the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency reported. It was further reported that at least 10,181 people were wounded during the operation.
