Palestinian envoy: We've submitted proposal to Egypt, waiting for Israeli response
Azzam al-Ahmad, head of the Palestinian envoy in Cairo, said Tuesday that delegates had submitted an official proposal to Egypt outline a roadmap to calm in Gaza and was only waiting for a response from Israel.
The Israeli envoy was recalled earlier Tuesday when rocket fire from Gaza was renewed and the Palestinian delegates are due to leave on Wednesday.
