Haredi protesters block street in Jerusalem over arrest of Yeshiva student

Dozens of Haredi Jews began protesting in Jerusalem Tuesday night, calling for the release of a Yeshiva student who was arrested for refusing to join the army. The demonstrators began moving trash bins to block traffic in the area of Kikar HaShabbat. Large numbers of police arrived at the scene and began attempts to move the protesters off the street.
