Palestinian officials: Abbas, Mashal meet in Qatar
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and hold talks with him about the ways to stop the escalation in the Gaza Strip. According to Palestinian officials, Hamas exiled leader Khaled Mashal joined the meeting.
On Friday, Abbas is expected to meet with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo to save the talks between Israel and Hamas.
