Head of Merhavim: Decision to open school year is detached from reality
Head of the Merhavim Regional Council Shai Hajaj said Thursday that "the education minister's announcement to open the school year is detached from the reality we live in. It will be utterly irresponsible to drive kids to school in rocket-exposed roads and study in structures without bomb shelters.
Hajaj stressed that if the rocket fire at the south continues the schools in the council will not open.
