Egypt calls for indefinite ceasefire in Gaza
Egypt called on Israel and the Palestinians on Saturday to accept an indefinite ceasefire and resume indirect talks in Cairo to end the Gaza crisis, Egypt's foreign ministry said in a statement.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had earlier called for a swift resumption of the Cairo-mediated talks after meeting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
