ISIS captures strategic airforce base in north-eastern Syria

ISIS militants announced Sunday that they had captured a-Tabqa airforce base in north-eastern Syria, a strategic location considered to be the Syrian government's last stronghold in the area. It was reported three days ago that the militants had entered the base and began attacking headquarters.
