Yair Lapid in Nahal Oz: We should politically disengage from Gaza, West Bank
Finance Minister Yair Lapid visited Kibbutz Nahal Oz along the Gaza border on Monday and met with residents to discuss the current political situation. He told them that in his opinion, Israel should politically disengage from Palestinians in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The southern residents asked the minister to provide aid to help a new neighborhood to be called "Daniel Neighborhood" after the 4-year-old boy, Daniel Tragerman who was killed by mortar fire from Gaza recently. Plans for the neighborhood include the construction of 40 apartment complexes.
