Turkey's Davutoglu to announce new government

ANKARA - Turkey's new prime minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, is set to announce his cabinet list a day after he was appointed to form a new government.

Turkey's long-time leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was sworn in as Turkey's first popularly elected president on Thursday, has picked Davutoglu, the former foreign minister, to succeed him as prime minister.

Davutoglu is scheduled to present his list of Council of Ministers on Friday. He was not expected to make substantial changes to Erdogan's government members.
