Zarif to meet with Ashton in Brussels, new EU foreign policy chief Mogherini in Italy
TEHRAN - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran on Monday morning to Brussels where he will meet with Catherine Ashton, the chief diplomat of the European Union, according to the official Iranian news agency IRNA.
Zarif is accompanied by his two deputy ministers Araqchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi, key negotiators in nuclear talks with world powers.
On Wednesday, Zarif will travel to Italy to meet his Italian counterpart Federica Mogherini, who was appointed the new head of European diplomacy.
