Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al- Sisi said that the current stagnation in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians will "fuel" the extremists and encourage them to engage in terrorist activities.
A statement issued by the president's office stated that "the deadlock strengthened the terror and the extremists. It gives an excuse for those seeking to engage in terrorism."
