Report: Abbas to request President Hollande recognize Palestinian state
In a meeting scheduled next week between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and French President Francois Hollande, Abbas is planning to make a request from Hollande to recognize the Palestinian, Ma'an reported Ma'an News Agency.
According to the report, this is the first stage to raise support from other European countries in Abbas' diplomatic plan which includes a resolution that will be submitted to the Security Council to end the Israeli occupation.
